Mind Power Secrets and programs are never what change you!

Many Mind Power programs make claims that it is they that will change you – they are and will always be wrong! Anyone who says they have something that will make you successful by making millions and finding love is either ignorantly or intentionly misleading you.

When you are ready to change, the first decent program that presents itself will help you – but YOU always do the changing and must always take the credit! Pointing to a program that was your catalyst is great, but it must be understood as the catalyst that provided opportunities for you to do the changing.

This is the type of self empowerment mentality that will bring about your evolution and make it sustainable and why? Because you will never give your power to anyone else leaving you powerless to achieve the success that only you are responsible and able to achieve.

Before you do any program, I want you to understand the most important thing that most programs never address is: -

Why their program may not work for you!

The reason is very simple, yet very powerful. It is about our addictions to our emotions. We are all addicted to our emotions. The proof is we keep experiencing the same undesirable emotions that are wired to learned limited beliefs.

When you seek to change and do not “FEEL” like it, it’s the emotional addiction to the same old way of thinking, feeling and being that is your challenge. There are literally trillions of cells that make up the human body that consistently call on peptides to attach to the receptor sites on the membrane of the cell. Each peptide is an emotion that is a particular receptor site. (Refer to Dr. Candice Pert’s book Molecules of Emotion and Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment for more information.

The latest DVD The Secret is nothing short of inspirational. I have watched it 3 times and have ensured my family, friends and clients are watching it. SO far they all love it. But this great DVD like so many other great educational programs do not address the reason why even knowing ‘the secret(s)’ still does not change your life.

What does this mean to you?

If you are used to being angry, your cells will send signals calling to be fed by peptides made up of amino acids. The difference is, the anger receptor sites are going to call on to be fed by the anger peptide that is the only peptide that can fit perfectly into the anger receptor site on the cell. This means, your brain will be asked to find a reason to be angry.

How does this work?

1. You think of something in your past that makes you angry. For no reason at all, you find yourself thinking about someone that betrayed you.
2. You anticipate something negative this is most likely to repeat itself that makes you angry.
3. You in fact interpret and make assumptions on existing events and the assumptions of people in such a way that makes you feel angry.
4. You attract situations with your focus that causes you to be angry. If you understand the power of perception and its effect on your reality, then you can imagine what role the body has in asking for experiences to feed it emotions it is accustomed to.

How do you break free?

Well knowing about it reduces the anxiety when you literally experience the cold turkey period that comes from detoxing from any chemical addiction and emotions are biochemical drugs that are much more powerful than any pharmeceutical drug. That restless, feverish and uncertain period that intensifies to the point of inner panic well known in those coming off an addiction to hard drugs is just as relevant when we abstain from feeding a particular emotion. With knowledge, you can turn this bad pain into good pain and new peptides and new receptor sites aligned with joyful experiences can instantanously replace the old addiction if you can ride the cold turkey period.

The metamorphosis from a way of being that has caused limited success to another way of being that brings a whole new way of living is an uncomfortable journey because we are indeed moving out of a comfort zone; but learning what rewards await the caterpillar as a butterfly is the difference between munching and crawling on coarse green leaves and flying over fields of multi coloured flowers and sucking on delicate yellow pollen.

How many all too familiar people, behaviour and emotional pain repeats in our lives that feel like the same old green leaves?
When we understand that success on the other side of change can literally be that drastically different, we are motivated and the pain becomes a process that is manageable. The birth of a new life is painful, yet the anticpation and knowledge of whats to come makes the pain manageable. Yet with fear of the unknown comes a locking up of the body and inflexibility. Elasticity is diminished and hence pain is more likely to feel like we are breaking apart.

To change or not to change

To change; Great Knowledge + Pain from transformation = Master of the journey to a desirable destiny with new emotional experiences.

Not to change; High Stress + Pain from resistance = Stagnation and emotional entropy.

The True Limitation

If you want a program that is proven and not hyped beyond its genuine capabilities, then you must know the true limitations of that program. That limitation is your addiction to being the same. Notice how much we are willing to put up with before we finally are ready to change, realising that no one has the answers but ourselves?

Have you caught yourself thinking or saying, “I do not know why I did that? – I did know better!” Its called emotional addiction that drives our decisions that defy rational and logical behaviour. The only reason we do not find success is because we constantly feel like doing the things that keep us away from realising that success. Constant decision making compounds into a destiny we do not desire, but are addicted to!

Ready to do the work?

Fall in love with a destiny you want to the point where nothing on the planet can come between you and that destiny. Are you ready for that? Have you imagined that destiny enough to excite you?

Have you made the DECISION that you are going to have it and there are no excuses or obstacles that are every going to be insurmountable?

The true test is how you feel about the obstacles. Do you feel they are too many or do you feel like they are simply a short term inconvenience and you constantly are inspired to think creatively, insightfully and decisively to act on solutions without delay?

If you are in that place, then you are indeed ready to do the work for lasting and rewarding change and most reputable mind power programs will allow you to work true magic into your life. I know because I have lived with and without making that vital ‘decision’.

Finding a business coach is easy. Finding one that will meet your expectations is another story. The following guidelines should help you become aware of what you should be looking for in a business coach as a bare minimum. I have been a business coach and have been coached for several years. You may as well benefit from my experiences!

15 things to look for or do in order you find the ideal business coach for you:-

  1. Listens and seeks to understand your needs first.
  2. Asks insightful and mind opening questions.
  3. Facilitates so you develop your own solutions.
  4. Have the ability to up-skill you and your team.
  5. Have corporate and small business experience.
  6. Are an experienced and succesful marketing and sales professional.
  7. Have access to the most effective sales & marketing systems.
  8. Have been successful in building their own businesses.
  9. Have been competent director of companies.
  10. Is requested as a guest speaker on evolving business.
  11. Business consultants and coaches seek them out for advice.
  12. Their fees are fair and competitive.
  13. Do a Google search on their name and profession
  14. Call at least 5 of their clients and ask what they liked and disliked about the coaching.
  15. Make sure a part of their service is a comprehensive ‘needs analysis’ of you and your business.

Remember to prepare your questions using the list above as your guide so that you can identify whether a business coach is going to be equal to these standards and do not settle for anything less.

Power of Perception

Our perception and its mastery according to quantum theory is all we need to be powerful and mould reality to our choosing.

It is important to understand that we do not perceive with our senses. We perceive through the interpretation of the signals by our brain! Quantum Physics, the study of sub atomic particles that form all matter has proved that nothing is solid and everything is energy, vibrating at different frequencies. One of the most amazing misconceptions is the assumption that because these frequency waves engage our five senses, therefore it is our senses that actually experience the reality around us.

In respect to the sight sense, science is concluding today that all frequencies enter through the lens of the eyes and are decoded by the brain. So why does reality need decoding? Isn’t reality there and we should simply sense it as it really is.

Science is saying that 400 billion bits of information per second are carried through frequencies that are received by our senses. Yet our brain is only decoding 2000 bits per second! In other words, we only perceive a fraction of what is exists. (Dr Joe Dispenza – What the Bleep Do We Know? www.drjoedispenza.com) How can we only be sensing and seeing a fraction of what reality is?
Using our Brain
American psychologist William James wrote in 1908: “We are making use of only a small part of our possible mental and physical resources”. Albert Einstein and anthropologist Margaret Mead, are also attributed with statements regarding the use of only a small portion of our brain. The argument that we are only using a fraction of our mental power, and therefore are seeing only equal to that fraction has been discussed for decades.

We use less than 1% of our true mental potential and we can increase the percentage we use. (Dr Jill Ammon-Wexler – Pioneer Brain/Mind Research; www.quantum-self.com). Therefore, if we increase what we know and our mental power, then Dr Ammon-Wexler suggests we will see more.

Perception Range
Since we are only using a fraction of our brain, then our perception range is very limited. One interesting fact to observe is our perception range compared to animals. For example, we can hear in the range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz while rats can hear in the range of 1,000 to 50,000 Hz. We do not hear all sounds that vibrate outside of our hearing range so we do not acknowledge they exist. Even our eyesight cannot decode all light-wave frequencies. This is why we do not see gamma, x-ray, ultra-violet and infrared frequencies and rely on measurement tools to measure their existence. Even the wings of a humming bird flutter outside our range of vision!

How in tune are we to our bodies, family, business and the environment? If we become more perceptive, are we enabling ourselves to make more informed decisions? How much healthier, responsible and more successful can we be by making different choices like what job or business to undertake, who we associate with and what we allow to occupy our time?

Expanding our Perception
It is remarkable when we observe nature’s ability to perceive compared to us. Animals sense a Tsunami and escape long before it approaches. Here is a list of amazing perception abilities that some animals possess: -
• Bats can find food (insects) up to 18 ft. away and gain information about the type of insect using echolocation.

• The eyes of the chameleon can move independently. Therefore, it can see in two different directions at the same time.

• Crabs have hair on claws and other parts of the body to detect water current and vibration.

• Like bats, dolphins use echolocation for movement and locating objects.

• Each eye of the dragonfly contains 30,000 lenses.

• Blowflies taste with 3,000 sensory hairs on their feet.

• The silkworm moth can detect pheromones up to 11 km. away.

• Scorpions can have as many as 12 eyes.

Expanding Perception Exercise
Anything we want to understand or experience means we need to develop the capacity to perceive it. Holding our focus on any thing we want to experience with conviction and acceptance is the key. Last edition I outlined the goal focus and candle focus exercises. These are designed to evolver our ability to focus.

Developing our ability to focus is very important. This needs to be our first priority. Practicing on things we want to experience is a practical and motivating way to achieve results. Below is another exercise with the aim of achieving the same results.

Nature Focus
1 Find a place where you can trance on a river, moving stream, waterfall or fountain. If nothing is available, then lie on the ground and look up at the sky. If a beautiful tree or any particular natural scenery resonates with you, use that.
2 Go into a trance and then hold up visuals of the things you want to experience using nature as your backdrop.
3 Hold them there for as long as you can without thinking of anything else.
4 Make this a half hour session you can have to break your day and realign your direction.

Success is a science, according to Quantum Evolver business coach George Helou who is invited as a guest speaker to Cremorne in Sydney on the 5th February, 2006.

He said certain experiments had shown that the beliefs of the scientists or participants determined the outcome of sub-atomic experiments.

“A person’s perception about their business determines their success,” Mr Helou said.

“For example, if the economy was in recession and the business owner thought their business would soften, he or she would make decisions based on that belief.

“But if they believed their business would continue to be strong, they would make different decisions and further more, attract different circumstances others would dismiss as luck.”

He said this illustrated the difference between the traditional classical paradigm and the new quantum paradigm.

“The classical paradigm is characterised by things like top-down management, fear-driven decisions, limitations, blame and ‘things happen to us’ and ‘we are not in charge’ attitudes,” Mr Helou said.

“In the quantum paradigm, there is equality and empowerment, self-responsibility, no limits and ‘anything is possible’ and ‘we are in charge’ attitudes.

“It’s a different way of thinking altogether.”

He said classically, business owners would want to make money but with quantum beliefs, business owners would want to serve customers.

“That the mind-set of people working from the quantum paradigm,” Mr Helou said.

“The idea is that you choose to work at something you are passionate about then it’s the actual experience that you’re after, the income is a side-product.

“Making a buck is classical fear-driven decision-making whereas an abundance mentality allows creative, passion-motivated decisions.”

If you are an employee who wants to know how to be promoted and earn pay rises, this newsletter is for you! If you are an employer who wants to know how to evaluate employees for promotions and pay rises this is also equally for you!

I recall when I was in the radio industry in sales and marketing, wondering how I could get promoted into management. My manager at the time started about the same time I did. Every time I went to him with a problem he would ask me to come back to him with a solution. I recall thinking how unhelpful and lazy he was. I would question his commitment as a manager and it made me angry!

What happened to me from there was amazing. Eventually I figured out not to go to him unless I had a solution and as I did, I realized that I did not need him for solutions after all – this experience did a World of good for my confidence as a creative and practical problem solver. Most of the time, he would just agree with my solution and on odd occasions he would suggest alternatives.

Within a few months, he gave me authority to make decisions without his consent and not long after that I was sent to Management training courses. Yes, I was being groomed to become a manager!

Needless to say I moved on to a major senior management position at another company before a management position was made available. However, I received a six-figure income + expenses with a 10-week holiday annual allowance! As you can see, I am grateful for my boss who disciplined me to be independent and learn the skill of problem solving for myself.
BECOME THE POSITION – NOT THE TITLE
You do not need authority to volunteer to do certain projects to demonstrate your passion and commitment. You do not need authority to show you can do the job well. Just show the optimism and ‘can do’ attitude the position would require. Be motivational and inspiring to the team, no one needs to give you permission to lead by example!

THE 17 HABITS
You can ensure you maximize your chances of receiving a promotion and pay rises shortly after you implement what the 17 habits recommend to you. Read more…

1. Enjoy what you do. What is the point of doing things that do not excite or motivate you? Being promoted and accepting more responsibility in a role you are not enthused about will work against you.

2. Solutions first. Never go to your boss or anyone in the company with a problem before first thinking of a practical solution to propose as an option.

3. Seek to understand. Do not feel the need to interrupt and enforce your views on anyone. Listen first and value their right to have their own views. Then you are more informed and can better communicate your own views with someone more willing to listen.

4. Treat People the way they want to be treated. Do not assume everyone likes what you like or likes to be as direct or tactful, detailed or as brief as you. Some people want to be given the full details while others want it brief, concise and direct. Observe how they communicate and the values dear to them and respect that. These are not right or wrong, they are different ways of communicating to suit different situations.

5. Be resourceful. If you are stuck, ask your colleagues questions and for help. Source information and ideas from the Internet and industry magazines.

6. Give credit where its due at all times. If your work colleagues help you with a solution, like a great leader, credit them in public and to the managers!

7. Help your team. Without neglecting your responsibilities, help your work colleagues wherever you can!

8. Be thoughtful in your problem solving. Approach the problem as if it is your business and money.

9. Prepare your manager. Explain that you are having a go at developing solutions that you will run by him for feedback and authority.

10. Clarify your direction. Do not work on any project without first clearly understanding the purpose. Knowing the end product means your decisions will be more informed and therefore aligned with the outcome. Ask the questions so you understand the end before you begin. As Stephen Covey says, begin with the end in mind.

11. Seek feedback. From your manager, collegues, customers, mentors and coach to help evolve your problem solving.

12. Nothing personal. Do not take criticism personally. It is a vital part of the process to help you evolve. How grateful you genuinely are for constructive criticism will exhibit your maturity and potential of being a great leader.

13. Be patient with the progress. It will seem like little progress is being made, but it takes off exponentially, I know it from personal experience and from coaching many people!

14. Avoid office politics. Do not agree with office political views just to belong to the group. There are other more productive ways to contribute and belong to the team. Do not say anything disrespectful behind anyone’s back. Praise people to their face and behind their back!

15. Admit all mistakes and propose solutions to fix them. No one in the World is near perfect and mistakes are an opportunity to evolve!

16. Constantly gain new knowledge. Read up on ideas to improve business processes and customer service. Forward these ideas to management and your work colleagues. You can offer to implement the great ideas that cost nothing!

17. Quality work. Seek to be productive and efficient so you do not have to spend long hours on a regular basis. Constantly seek creative ways to do more in less time. Do not mistake being at work as working. Do not think staying back late is doing you or the company any favors. You need balance in you life.

NOTHING TO LOSE!
You may notice that if you do these 17 things and make them a natural part of your approach to your work, you are already in essence, a great manager and leader! The difference will be your company now has the opportunity to identify you and most importantly, you have the respect of the team who will endorse and support you.

You have nothing to lose because when you treat the business with the thoughtfulness as if it’s your own, you are already making yourself a very rare employee. When you treat work colleagues and customers with respect and gratitude, you are contributing to a culture that will create many opportunities including pay raises, promotions and possible offers for equity!
